Standard bits are engineered to cut Aluminum.  They have a relief step which acts like a depth gauge.  Our bits are engineered without the relief step.

All of our Bits are Custom made to be much more aggressive.  This allows them to cut faster and last longer.  We also extend the length of cut more than a standard bit.  

The 3/16" has a 3/16" Shank so it needs an adapter to be used in your Die Grinders for carving by hand.
The 1/8" bit  now has an 1/8" shank with a sleeve that brings it up to 1/4" for use in CNC's and Die Grinders for carving by hand.

The only sources for these custom bits are "I Sculpt" and "Ice Crafters"

A Bit is considered to be Dull when you see chatter along the ice.
The long 1/2" bit can be resharpened. I have given the name of the company that I use for resharpening to Joe Rimer from "Ice Crafters." He will be handling all resharpening from now on.
